System overview
The NBS instant financial card system provides all necessary hardware and software required to enable a bank or financial institution to issue secure ATM or Debit cards either on an on-demand basis or at a regional facility for batch processing.
The basic IFC system includes the NBS Instant issuance windows software for PC control.

The IFC system is designed to run on a PC under Windows 95/98/NT platforms. IFC is designed as a single user, non-networked system.
The system consists of two major elements that communicate together. The front-end graphical user interface controls data entry, security and reporting. The personalisation and control program controls all of the personalisation elements such as embossing or magnetic encoding.
A smart card security dongle is included in the base system and is used for protection of the personalisation process. Removal of the smart card from the reader prevents any cards from being produced.
